Let me introduce you to the two furry members of our family who bring endless joy and chaos into our lives:

  • Zion: My senior mutt with a heart of gold. Zion was my husband's dog before we got together, but over the past 10 years, she's become my special old lady. She has been a steadfast protector and loving companion, watching over our kids as they've grown. Her calm, loving presence is a constant source of comfort.
  • Blue: The energetic shepherd mix who keeps us all on our toes. Blue's zest for life and boundless energy are infectious, and there's never a dull moment with him around.

Don't feel bad if this year the Easter date snuck up on you too. It's my littlest sons favorite holiday and it's the hardest for me to remember when it is because it's that one that is always on a different day. No, I'll be honest here because I want my blog and life to be completely authentic and transparent, we aren't religious we don't go to church or celebrate any of that part of Easter, this is the one holiday aside from Halloween that we go all out American Consumer. I love to decorate for it (again and Halloween, I don't even like decorating for Christmas as much.) I think it has something to do with the change is the seasons and the celebrating just to celebrate.
